Ghasibah Cultural Heritage Impact Assessment, KSA.

Ghasibah is a historically significant fortified district within the buffer zone of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Al-Turaif. Enclosed by ancient walls and characterized by its untouched authenticity, Ghasibah represents a vital cultural link to the rich history of Diriyah.

We had the honor to participate in Chronicle Heritage’s activities in Ghasibah. We supported our client with proposal writing and staff operations on the ground. The project focused on documenting and preserving the site while safeguarding its fragile ruins through a pilot intervention.

By promoting Ghasibah’s historical and cultural significance and aligning with international heritage standards, the initiative aimed to integrate conservation with broader strategies for cultural visibility. This project contributes to enhancing Saudi Arabia’s heritage narrative while respecting the integrity of its historical landscapes
